Generator ever start on it's own?

I know they have auto start feature, but my panel is set on manual. I came home yesterday afternoon and the generator was running. No one had been in the coach. This is the first time this has happened, and we have had our coach for over a year. Anyone ever had this happen to them or have any ideas what to look for? Thanks.

Dave

Look in the start switch on the generator. Dirty contacts and the right humidity conditions there or somewhere else in the generator electronics have been the culprit for many who have encountered this.

Just a guess, are you plugged into shore power? possible a power surge? I have seen some "weird' things happen in a MH after a power surge. Is there and EMS installed?

I have just encountered the same problem. In the middle of the night the generator started on its own. I was on shore power, no storms or electrical issues. I double checked and the auto start was on manual. I have no idea what caused it. We have only been in this new coach about 2 weeks, this is the first time so far we have experienced this.

Ok, I'll admit it. I hacked your iPad and installed a virus and now I control your generator. Next, world domination 😜😜😜

Really that's crazy. If you're set to manual it's hard to see how it would start.
