Generator fault codes 13 & 14

We just got our 13 Anthem RBQ home from having some warranted issues repaired, while it was in the shop we had the generator's routine maintenance done. Now when we try to start the generator the motor kicks in for a short time (usually less than a minute) then it dies. Fault codes 13 (inverter undervoltage fault) and 14 (inverter overfrequency fault) comes up on the monitor. We have turned off all the appliances, made sure that we had unplugged the shore power but are still not able to get the generator to stay on.
Our temperatures here have been below freezing for several nights, tonight we will be in the teens.
We are scheduled to set out on our first voyage Friday, heading to central Florida from the North Dallas area for my mom's 80th birthday, we will have 4 of our 80+ lb. fur kids with us, so having the generator working is a must.
Any suggestions other than scrapping the trip would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks... Cheryl

This is simply a wild guess since I have never had that problem. However, I would guess that a tech unplugged a cable from the inverter when doing the generator PM and has forgotten to plug it back in. Look for a connector with no associated cable and reconnect. This could also be a switch rather than a disconnected cable.

A quick call back to the people that did the generator PM (the actual mechanic that worked on the generator) would be my second (maybe my first) telephone call.

Gary is right on track. If you just had it serviced and the problem started right after, do check the oil level and everything they worked on first.. I have seen that not all error codes on an Onan are correct. Also check each power connection plug to make sure they did not pull one loose. Mechanics have a good habit of grabbing anything when coming out from underneath.
