Last evening we deployed our awning to take advantage of the strip light during an extended happy hour. While coming out the cord broke. I managed to get the awning back in with the cord dangling, but now need to figure out how to fix it. Anybody have to do that yet and if so any tips?

Which cord, one inside of the awning cover? Almost everything inside the awning cover can be fixed with a wire tie. I don't think the awnings have changed since the classics. I added light dimmers to my awnings and there was not much to come loose up there

There is a breaded rope/cord about 3/16" diameter that runs inside crossbar. The crossbar connects to each of the 3 arms at the elbow of each arm. There are plastic runners at each arm that are inside the crossbar and the cord attaches to these runners at the 2 outside arms.
