Girard patio awning-rear passenger side.

Have issues with my rear Girard patio awning. The motor end had dropped down till the arm hit the top of the slide below. It appears that the arm itself has sagged way down at the elbow.
Have adjusted the height adjustment bolts, and it does raise awning up some ,but the adjuster bolt is maxed out.
When I did this the arms will not fold in, they jam up trying to fold in the box.
Do the arms/elbows have any adjustments that can be made?

What year is your coach? I have a 2014 and could not get the awnings even once they were full extended, one sagged lower then the other. I contacted Girard and after sending them some pics they determined that the awning arm joints were bad. Lucky for me all I had to pay for was shipping, since I installed them myself. So I would contact them. Plus it always help with advice it you put your Year and model in your signature line.

Check your awning box on the roof and make sure it’s not pulling loose, there is a problem with the awnings coming loose. No the elbows do not have an adjustment.

I had the same problem with both of my awnings, they were about to fall off the coach. They missed the plates under the roof at the factory and bolts they used were too short.
