Glue for headliner

Have a section of headliner that's drooping, what's the glue type that should be used. I heard mention to use 3m spray on glue, but not sure thx for any info

Finding that fairly universally, 3M adhesives perform better than others.

I'm aware of,, and have used two 3M spray glues, one is 77. Depending on the application, the pricier one adheres better in higher temperature applications, like auto headliners. Follow the can's directions. The loose piece may be quite difficult to move (and smooth) where the two pre-glued surfaces touch.

First thing I'd do is make sure you don't have a leak causing the headliner adhesive to fail.

You can try the 3M type headliner adhesive but if the foam backing is deteriorating it may not work.
