Going to LD Tampa

We are headed to LD in Tampa to get new Lifeline AGM coach batteries installed (gpl-4ct) and we are staying at the campground through Sunday.. Any other Entegra owners going to be there? Also any other people swap out their stock led acid batteries for these? Want to know if we are making a good selection with them, also what AMP selction we should set the charger too. We destroyed our old ones out of stupidity by upping the charge amps thinking it would charge them faster :-( The stock batteries we have were horrible to begin with anyway so no big loss.

You have chosen the best, and you should be very happy with the Lifelines. There is an AGM setting on your charger, make sure that is selected. Also, set your battery capacity to whatever charger setting is closest to 440 Amp-hrs, as each battery has approximately 110 AH capacity. The charger should do the rest automatically. AGM's are known for taking a charge more quickly than wet cell batteries so that should not be an issue. To be absolutely certain you can ask the people at Lifeline or at Magum (inverter/charger) for their recommendations.

I did read in the inverter/charging manual the correct setting for AGM batteries. I would follow that step by step so no mistakes are made. I have to be honest, I haven't played with my setting enough to be able to say what they are. I just left them at the factory settings.

I switched from group 31 lead acid to lifeline AGM's on our previous 2009 Itasca. Single best change I made to that coach, among many. You absolutely made a good choice
