Refer madness

After a very long day we got a fridge in the new Anthem that does what it is supposed to do....cool food. I was going to watch a lot of the process but the techs were shy and basically gave me the "you don't want to watch this" statement. Here's one pic of how they make a hole for the refer. Entegra builds the coach around the fridge. The swap went without incident. If something like this happens to you the tech report those Samsungs are a PITA to remove the doors vs the Maytags. They said there are wire bundles, tubes and a lot of screws.

We are cool now. Now I have to go back to work. Hopefully get to try the rig out and go somewhere in two weeks or so.

Thanks to Joyce for making it happen.

Thanks for sharing that Dave. Being able to go though the side window sure beats pulling the windshield. The side window is an easy R&R, the windshield, not so much. Mine was resealed three times before it finally stopped leaking. I found out the hard way, R&R a windshield is not fun. (a turkey at 55 MPH)

I think the tech was right, it is not something you want to watch on a new coach.

Glad your refridg is in and it's trip time for you.

WOW Brobox, remind me not to get my coach close to you! Bet your copilot had to have new underware after that little episode. Man, that is scary. Here's hoping your luck is about to change for the better with the "redelivery". Maybe your experiences will mostly be happy and positive now. You have a great attitude my friend and I am betting on Joyce to reward your faith and patience with a great coach.

you won't believe "the rest of the story". We were on Hwy 2 coming out of the UP when we hit the first one. Stopped at a Walmart down the road, bought a Shop Vac to clean up the glass and called the insurance company to get a new windshield into Traverse City MI. We weren't 10 miles down the road and ANOTHER one flew out of a tree and hit and the same spot shattering glass everywhere again. I got my season limit in an hour and never fired a shot. We were the talk of Hearthgrove for a couple of days until the windshield arrived. Met some great people and shared some good wine. The shattered windshield was sure an attention getter.

Joyce has really stepped up to the plate and I am sure our Entegra is going to be as nice as everyone else's when we see it next time. I have 100% faith in Entegra and why we purchased one. Dealer...not so much
