Dave, the wheels look awesome. Be careful people will be asking you to "show them" how you did it. I have had that a few time on this trip.

I was the envy of the campground when I was done and they shined like brand new ones. BUT now I'm addicted! There can't be too much glow off those wheels and I'll probably burn through the aluminum. I guess when the tires start loosing air I'll know to stop.

The whole coach is pretty dirty right now BUT.......Those wheels sure do shine!
Pictures or it never happened!

Those look great Dave. My missing ingredient has been the Jack close by.

The pictures are already in the thread. Just move up a few frames and feast your eyes..

That is the process that the first fellow used who did my wheels. The process makes a beautiful job.

Dave

You said you used a cheap polisher. Did you really use a right angle "grinder" type "polisher".

Yes Gary, that's what I bought. I've used for years a dual head orbital polisher for the coach but for this you need a right angle "body buffer". I'd never use it on the sides in fear of burning through the clear coate UNLESS I had a really bad scratch.

They come with the foam pad but I took that off. The shank on the buffer is 5/8 which most of them seem to be. I'll try to post a picture of the buffer and wheel later if I have time.

Yep.....but where's the whisky?

Pretty sure the whiskey isn't too far. Legend has it, he's only 32 years old.
