Great Customer Service

I had a call from Entegra Customer service today. They asked about my roof sealants, and if I had any water intrusion problems (I havenít). They then said that there had been some problems, and that they would like to send a technician to my home to inspect my roof and repair any problems.

Is this great service or what? The company that I bought my previous motorhome from would have waited until I called them with a complaint Ö and then theyíd have told me to bring it to a dealer, who may or may not have dealt with it correctly.

As it turns out, my roof was already inspected by an Entegra tech at the Tampa RV show and found in good shape. They were going around the show site inspecting every Entegra roof they could find.

I am awestruck by the superb way that Entegra deals with a situation like this. Makes me wonder if I could ever buy another brand.

I received the same phone call today. I am in Kansas and it sounds like they will be coming to inspect my roof within a few weeks. Hopefully it will check out. A little nervous about a potential roof issue but agree outstanding Entegra service.

I was speaking to Ted Cook about 5 months ago at the Atlanta Good Sams rally about a couple leaks I had (none traced to my roof) and how I'd met several other Entegra owners this past summer that had roof sealant develop cracks. He mentioned they were going to get the sealant used analyzed to see if there was a defect. Perhaps they are trying to find a trend. It seems good they are calling owners versus the other way around. I wish they'd just abandon that sealant goo they use and use that Eternabond Brobox talked about.

You need both. The sealant flows into nooks and crannies where the Eternabond won't get to. And the Eternabond seals the sealant and protects it from weather deterioration. Once you have them both, you are good for at least 10 years, probably more. Without the Eternabond the sealant starts breaking down due to weather and UV after a couple of years, and will show cracking after three or four years. Then the water starts to seep into the cracks. Without Eternabond, you need to repair or replace the sealant every year or two after the first two years..

I doubt I will get a call, they have already paid techs 4 times to find a leak in my roof! The bad thing is you don't know if it's fixed until the next time it rains! The last time it reared its head on mine was when we had ice melt so I don't know if it was a leak or residual in the ceiling that froze then melted. I will make sure they inspect my roof carefully when I go to Middleberry in May.

I'm still extremely pleased with my Entegra!

We got the call about the roof issue yesterday on the way home from the Houston RV Show. We have a great feeling from Entegra's proactive attitude towards taking care of any potential problems. This reinforces an even better feeling we had after wandering through the RV Show and looking at Entegra's competition. It's been said many times and many ways, but we have NO second thoughts about our decision to go with Entegra.

That is outstanding customer service..... very proactive.

Just curious but are they not using Dicor self leveling roof sealant or something like that? I am a proponent of Eternabond but Dicor is also a good sealant. Coach builders probably get the stuff in 55 gallon drums and maybe they just got some defective stuff.

Those type of calls regarding roof checks is why we stayed with a brand we know will be taken care of. After learning the key management from TS went to Entegra we had no hesitation which MH manufacture our purchase would be from. I am so please to see they are still putting the customer first.

I will still apply Eternabond tape. A pefect example that leaks can happen. It was not the manufactures fault, but possibly some bad materiel from an outside source. I still don't want to be bothered by roof leaks.

I must not have called the right number for customer service as I have called twice, once about moisture inside when it was cold and once when I was low on propane and called about hooking up an external tank until weather cleared up so I could unhook and travel to nearest place for propane (22 mile). Both times the lady took my number and said they would fine out and call me back. The first time on moisture was about a month ago and the second time about the external tank was yesterday and I haven't heard a word on either yet. I am not complaining just thought I might not be getting hold of the right people at Entegra. Called the number on the Entegra app. I bought this Coach because of the service I had been hearing about from friends who have the same Coach. I will be at the factory in May for punch list warranty work and will check into the matter. It is still good to hear of all the great service that everyone is getting, makes me feel better.

Ask for Joyce...they have been out of the office for weather a number of days, of and on, for the last three weeks, but if a person was to call back and they didn't they ask for Joyce...explain your situation. You'll get a response, quickly, I'll wager.
