grey/black water odor

Been struggling with odor around twin vanity sinks In 2012 Aspire for long time with limited success. Found out both sinks dump into black water tank and discovered vent caps(?) At top of black pipes just behind both vanity sinks. Has any one experienced similar issues?

Yep, they are famous for going bad. You can buy better ones at Lowes to replace them with to cure the problem.

Not just an Entegra issue. Had this same problem with our 2011 HR Endeavor. This valve is a one way vent valve that is supposed to let air into the holding tank, but if the spring in it goes bad, it doesn't seal. I poured all sorts of stuff in the holding tank before I figured out it was the vent valve. We bought a replacement at Lowe's and have since carried a spare.

The factory installed valves on under sink vents on most MH are of poor quality. Replacements can be bought at Lowe's for $3.95 for quick fix and may last longer than the factory valves. I had the expensive studor vents on hand so I used those to get them out of my garage. They sure ended my odor problem.

Those with factory valves should carry one of the Lowe's valves as a spare as it is not fun when one of the factory valves hang up.
