Grounded
I received a lot of support from the forum for my health issues last year so I thought I should give an update.
I had my second semi-annual scan and labs this week. Scans were good, no recurrence or spread of kidney cancer.
Can't say the same for my recurrent prostate cancer. PSA increase second time this year so it's off to radiation therapy for me. 5 days a week for 8 weeks.
I was planning to have my shoulders replaced this winter, have to find which has priority.
Either way it looks like we will be grounded for 4-5 months again!
Getting old ain't for sissies!

My DH went through the radiation for PCa August/Sept 2012. It's not bad - just does keep you tied down for about 2 months. If you haven't already, Healing Well forum is a great place to get information and advice. Good luck and we will all have you in our thoughts and prayers. Lynn

Thanks everyone. We knew radiation was in my future but when the time comes it kinda knocks you to your knees for a while.
Jonathan, my Irish buddy, and I will discuss it a little this evening and my attitude will be much better tomorrow.
Like was said, much better than the alternative!
