Hadley Air Leveling
Greetings entegra owners,
Well when it rains it pours. The air leaks were repaired by replacing the air lines, since I cant8use the equalizer system, I have been using the air leveling system.
I searched for either a CD or a manual,no luck. For the past 2 days I have stared the coach and notic2d that the side to side indicator on the leveling system is amber in color, air I selected the set button and eventually is goes to green.
Any ideas?

Until 2019 there was no on board compressor to keep the Hadley system aired up or checked on. So up until then you level the coach and it can/will slowly bleed down until you’re no longer level. There are two things you can do. One hook up an external compressor and air up the system or two start the big engine and air up the system. Either way requires you to relevel the coach, because it has no way of automatically checking the level.

It’ll work for keeping the system aired up, but I still think you’ll have to wake the system up manually to relevel.

I was at Spartan last week and the question was asked as to whether a Viair could be added to an ‘18 so that it could function as an auxiliary as in the ‘19’s and their answer was no.

Concerning using a Viair... you can add a Viair to the connection at the basement air supply line to replace the air that has seeped out over time, but since that is not actually integrated into the Hadley system, it still may require manual releveling.
Concerning the amber arrows...
Solid Green - the vehicle is near level
Flashing Green - adjustment is possible and within range
Flashing Amber - adjustment is marginal
Solid Amber - self leveling may not be possible (excessive slope)

I saw the connection yesterday. The only thing that concerns me is how would I know the PSI for the air leveling system

If the Vair does not have a regulator , buy an inline regulator and set it for 135-140 psi. The Vair puts out 150 so you only need to adjust it down a small amount. I don't think I would put 150 into the system. That's the max the air governor on the engine compressor will let through.
