Not trying to make light of your problem. I was just saying it could have been much worse. Thank God we had the sense to leave at four in the mourning. The people who stayed had two more cells come through and lost everything.
I read online that some were having problems with their insurance companies paying claims because they stayed in the campground and did not leave before the next two cells came through.
I want to give a big thank you to State Farm insurance. Our claim was settled much to our satisfaction. They were very fair with us. Something you don’t hear a lot these days.

We have State Farm for our truck and they have been great. They told us to make it safe to drive, keep any receipts and they will reimburse us. Also they told us to continue our trip and when we return home at the end of October, they will inspect the damage and take care of the repairs.

We filed our damage claim on the coach with Progressive and have not been contacted yet. Fingers crossed I hope they are easy to deal with.

I was hoping to see what your outcome has been with Progressive on your coach claim. I also have Progressive for my TT and vehicles, and I live in, travel/camp, and visit hail country. (Couldn’t tell you how many hail storms I’ve been through in the Black Hills, luckily I’ve never had any damage.) I have a new TT, and just wondering if Progressive has made you “happy” (As happy as can be in a situation like this), or has you looking for a different insurance company…. In the unlikely case that I would have to deal with them for insurance claims.

Any concern here with the integrity of the roof itself and whether it would still be watertight? Maybe time for a bunch of Eternabond and DICOR?

Progressive comes to the campground tomorrow to look at the damage. So far they have been fantastic to work with.
