Hard Getting Good Service

Once again disappointed regarding service. I took our Anthem to RVOne in Orlando, FL to replace the control board in the washing machine. 6 days latter they call and say they have to get approval from Entegra (I already had approval) and of course it will take them a week or two to get approval and then two weeks to get the control board. I also had it in for the generator door which keeps opening which they were working on when I picked it up today and of course its not fixed.

When I picked it up, the check engine light (yellow) and Emissions light (yellow) were on (never had this before) --- pretty sure they do not know you have to wait until all lights are out. Hopefully it will reset itself and I did check and could find no codes. No more dealer service for me, I am doing it my self from now on what a disappointment.

Good thing I have a factory appointment in April to get everything on my short list fixed. Any one know of a good tech in the Orlando, FL area? Guess I will start driving to Atlanta to try NIRVC (they need a facility in central FL).

Rule #1.
Don’t use a stupid dealer for service.
Head to Entegra factory service.

I only go to Forrest City. Every thing done correctly the first time.
I set up an appointment for end of April, or early May. Make Rv trip out of it. This yr we will do a week in Wisconsin after the service visit.

I have experienced the same issue with service near Orlando. It's so bad and so frustrating that it changed my mind on buying a new cornerstone last year. I'm better off keeping my 17 because the bugs are all worked out. Whatever you do, forget about taking your coach to Lazy Days, absolutely worthless service department.

Having owned the Travel Supreme and 3 Entegras while living in FL.....there are no good DP class A dealers in the state of FL. Those that try thinking it will change, or maybe I will have better luck are soon disappointed much like the OP. I now drive the 600 miles to NIRVC in Atlanta, or do much of it myself, a lot easier than dealing with a FL dealer. Then have everything done at Entegra during my 2 year AIR like I did with the last 2 Entegras. NIRVC on the way to Entegra took care of all the Spartan recalls and repairs, much easier than getting an appointment with Spartan to coordinate with my Entegra appointment.

After I am out of warranty, I did have a great truck center I dealt with, but I was informed they sold and no longer work on MH's. Also Florida Spring and Axel for all of the Chassis work. I did hear there was a good RV repair center in Pt Charlotte others have used that I will need to get the name of. But as for Entegra Dealers, it's NIRVC or take a big chance with one in FL.

I have been very fortunate to deal with appliance manufactures and toilet manufactures directly with excellent service. Even Aqua Hot has been great and sent Darin Hathway for warranty service to my hanger. It is surprising how many times manufactures do have a mobile warranty service if they are asked.

Ditto to the above post by brobox. Nothing good in Texas either. We are heading to NIRVC in Atlanta in February for some recall items and will be in Middlebury in October for an AIR. I would much rather drive 800 -900 miles and have the service done correctly than to hassle with with local morons.

Just a reminder, NIRVC main office is in Dallas Ft Worth with Brett Davis living on site. Wouldn't have to go far if there was a problem. But I am also a big fan of Justin in Atlanta. Doesn't get any sharper when it come to Entegras.

Agree -- I did contact NIRVC Dallas and was told they don't do Entegra warranty or recall work. But, their folks in Atlanta reached out to me and were very helpful and I have a recall service scheduled with them in February. Will certainly use Dallas for any regular repairs which are needed. I used them on my previous coach (Newmar Essex) and they were really great to work with.

I was not aware the MHS stopped them from doing warranty work as well. Learned something new today. Thanks.

This territorial stuff gets crazy. Not only do we have Lazy Days, worst dealer in the country, with their Entegra lock of the W coast of FL, but also North Trails to knock NIRVC out with their Newmar line. Hopefully they can find a neutral piece of ground in FL, I maybe driving to Atlanta for a long time.

Hello neilnoff,

Due to Franchise laws in Texas a dealer can only perform factory warranty work for the lines it carries. Since we started selling Entegra’s there is only two ways we can perform Entegra factory warranty work at our Lewisville, Texas

1. The coach owner pays NIRVC (customer pay), and then they get reimbursed by Entegra.

2. If someone purchase’s a coach from us at any one of our 5 other locations, we can perform all their warranty work in Texas as a Sublet through our NIRVC selling location.
I hope this helps.

X2 what Eddie said. When we bought our '18 in Atlanta, there were no issues having the warranty work done in Lewisville. You do need to be a sales customer first at one of their other locations.

I forget that not everybody purchases their coach from NIRVC. Something to think about when trying to save $500. How is service after the sale? Boy, have I been there and could write a book on the horror stories.

Eddie: Thank you for responding and that is good news. I assume my next coach will be purchased from an NIRVC location somewhere, so it's good to know that "local" (anywhere closer than 800 mi ) warranty & recall work is available from you all.

Great advice and I will have the chassis service done by NIRVC in Atlanta on my way back from the factory.

Mike Thibeau at Eagles Pride in Titusville is real good.
He does a lot of work for Entegra and Joyce swears by him.
He has done work on both of my Cornerstones and I was very pleased.

His phone is 321-383-0288
