I now have a tin of four glass "slow-blows" in my "spares" JIC (just in case box). They do just what it sounds like they do.....

The solution, is to reboot the controller by a) shutting down all 12v power via master switch, or b), pulling the fuse behind the toilet providing 12vdc to the controller. As I needed to check the fuse anyway, I pulled the fuse, checked to ensure it was good, then re-installed and re-booted the system.

Damn if that didn't work!! Who woulda thunk that in the 21st century that you would have to reboot the damn toilet before taking a crap???? Really??

Thank god the shutdown didn't involve any "foreign made" chips or electronics, or I would have been without a crapper in the half-bath for six months or better, kind of like if you need an air-conditioning unit! Good grief!!

I've had an inordinate amount of "foreign made" electronics failures on this spring trip, and we haven't made it more than 500 miles from home yet!!

UGH!
Just another reason to own an X - gravity always works
