Has anyone been to the Hershey Pa RV show?

RV Show? We are planning on going this year in Sept and am wandering where did you park? Is there a Hershey Fairgrounds to park our coach and if so do you have their phone number. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

You can dry camp in the parking lot for $20/night as I remember from several years ago. Several have mentioned several RV parks within shouting distance.

Not much of a poster any more...and there are many with much more experience than us; try to only offer where there has been direct experience these days. But thanks for the thought. Look forward to seeing you as well.

This was just us. We made the Hershey show a double one stop trip. We stayed in Lancaster and did the Amish Tourist things then did a day trip to the Hershey show 60 miles away. We called late and everything close to the show was booked. Smart to be planning now.

Some of the local campgrounds will be running shuttles to the show. Jonestown KOA is the only I can think of at the moment, but there are others.

We go every year. Although the drive is about an hour for us, sometimes we take the coach and stay in the overnight (dry) parking lot, right at the show. Hersey Campground also runs a shuttle, but they book fast and most of their camping is also dry during the show (due to the number of campers that come in). If you are just day tripping it, you can park the RV in the RV day parking lot for no charge. If you belong to Thousand Trails, their Hershey preserve isn't very far either.

We went. Just to look. Came home with a contract on an Anthem and a great trade on our Aspire. So much for good intentions. And loving it!#

Flora and I did the Hershey show for something to do in the fall of 2012. Mistake - as we bought a 2013 Aspire DEQ and love it. We also did the Tampa show this year and prefer the Hershey layout better. If you go be sure and see Robin from RV One - tell him we sent you and he will treat you right. You can park at the show with no issue as the lot is huge - not sure of the cost (if any). It is well worth the trip.

It's on the bucket list for us. From what I've seen on TV, it's huge.
