Have a question about the Aspire IFS edition

I know there were some left over Anthem chassis and Entegra made the Aspire Special Edition IFS. I understand they later had to put the 315 tires on the front and 295 on rear. My question is, did the IFS make that big of a difference? I don't want to spend the extra money to get an Anthem with IFS. I want to stay in the Aspire price range. I now have for sale an 05 fleetwood excursion 39L with of course non IFS and you can tell when you hit a bump or cross a bridge. With the Entegra being much better built does the non IFS Aspire shake much when hitting a bump or crossing a bridge. Thank you in advance

Hard to say. When I test drove the Anthem vs the Aspire, I thought I could tell the difference, but I'm not sure it was a lot. Then when the Aspire IFS became available, that was what I went for despite the "up charge". I sug-
gest you test drive each and see if the difference is enough to affect your decision. Both decisions are probably correct.

Hi IRV2 Friends,

Hi, Randy...

We have an Aspire with IFS and could not be happier with the ride,
smooth as glass, and steady as a rock even during moderately windy
conditions.

As far as the difference in the ride, agree it would be worth a
trip to a dealer with both Aspires and Anthems on the lot to do
a comparison test drive. Think you will probably be happy with
both but our experience after about 14,000 miles is...IFS was
definitely worth the upgrade.

Cheers,
Gary & Carol
