Headlight replacement on a Classic

One of my driving lights burned out on my ‘15 Aspire and needs replacement (the top one to be exact). Any links to written or videos on how to remove and replace these bad boys?

The rubber boot around the light can be a little tricky, some patience is needed when pulling it back. The bulb is held in with tension from 2 spring wires. You squeeze them together and then move them out from under the hook that holds them in place. Once that is done pull the bulb out socket and all. Reverse process after purchasing a new bulb, available at all auto parts stores. I actually care 2 spares.

Wear a pair of gloves when you handle the bulb. It is not difficult just don't force it.

Thanks all. Got the old one out and the new ones ordered. No thanks to Entegra for mounting the horn right behind the light making sure even the simplest jobs become a chore.....

These can be problematic to change. Be careful pulling the rubber boot away from the fixture, can be difficult to slide the wires through the boot from the road grime on the wires - I pulled one of the ground wires loose from the fixture and had to remove the whole fixture (assembly with all 3 lights on mounted to a board - my lights run vertical on the classic Aspire) to repair the ground wire.

Changing the bulb is easy, if you can reach and get to it. Sounds like yours can be a challenge.
