Heater in Basement of 2014 Anthem

I have a new 2014 Anthem coach which has a basement heater and thermostat does that system work off electric or the Aqua Hot System? Second question inside where the controls for the Aqua Hot System There is a 3rd switch that says preheat is this switch for heating the engine up when you are in colder conditions? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that the basement heat works off the AH, and if you have 50A electric, it should work fine if it is not too cold out. I have mine running now (all zones are running) with night temps around freezing.

Yes, the third switch is for engine preheating.

You also have an engine block heater. The plug in is in the engine compartment. No need to waste deisel if you are plugged into 50 amp to pre-heat the engine in cold temps.
