Double check your fluid level. There is a fluid level sensor that will shut down the unit. The fluid will expand and contract with the temperature. I have had this happen to me.

Ok, here we go, I would like to provide a follow up on my current situation and HOPEFULLY some closure to this problem.

I have never had a low fluid warning red light go off on my Aqua-Hot status board.

I reached out to Entegra CS who put me in touch with Aqua-Hot CS

I first started bleeding air out of the valve located on top of the unit. This bled down the fluid from the reservoir into the unit significantly, I thought? It allowed me to add 1.4 gallons of Century green Boiler Antifreeze, this had no effect on keeping the Aqua-Hot burning. It would run but after reaching temp would cut out and not restart.

At this point, even though I have only had the coach since April the coach was built significantly before that, Aqua-Hot said get it serviced.

We took out to the Florida keys for some warm weather. While we didn't need the heater, thank God, we did need hot water. The symptoms remained the same, the burner would just not stay on.

I made arrangements to meet a tech in Delray Fla. on the way back up the coast to service the unit. He was great and a great teacher. Very generous with his time and knowledge.

Took cover off and found diesel fuel in the bottom of the housing. Pulled burner head out and replaced the fuel shut off valve w/spring. Serviced the unit with cleaning the burner chamber and air swirler. Replaced the clutch half, new photo eye plates w/clip. Reinstalled the unit and tested the boiler antifreeze, good to -5 degrees. The reservoir tank was low on fluid, purged the system and got significant air out of the system. This allowed the system to take on 3 more gallons of boiler antifreeze. Ran the Aqua-Hot to find the system still cutting out.

A chattering sound was heard from the Thermostat Control Sensor just as it would fail. Ran test bypassing the Sensor, unit ran as expected and determined the sensor was faulty. Called Aqua-Hot for warranty replacement control sensor.

TWO days later sensor replacement arrived! Drained out about three gallons of boiler fluid to allow replacement of switch. Replaced fluid. Ran significant stress tests. No more chatter sound and boiler stays on!

Heading back up north, if anything changes I will follow up.
Thanks to all for taking the time to respond and help.

Pat, great explanation, thank you. That is one of those impossible to diagnose unless you are there. Amazing the amount of air in the system. New guy on the job at Entegra that filled the fluid??
Sounds like your tech really knew what he was doing.

If the sensor you’re talking about is the one with wires attached you can replace it without draining fluid. You won’t lose a 1/4 teacup of fluid, you just have to be prepared.
