Help: Accolade mystery lever

Last week purchased a 2021 Accolade 37L, love love LOVE it, but there is a mystery lever neither the dealer NOR ENTEGRA can explain to me.

Right next to the inverter in the second outdoor compartment behind the drivers seat, is what appears to be a vertically-oriented grey tank lever. See pic. No mention in the manual. Grey water drain lever is in the water bay several compartments back.

I sent a pic to Entegra and the tech who got back to me said "sure LOOKS like a grey tank lever" and left it at that. Grrr.

When should this be open, when should it be closed?

Welcome to iRV2.

Usually we don't see mystery items till the coach has had a few owners , who've done add ons.

Given the distance from the wet bay , I'm not thinking it's related to those systems .

About the only way to determine what it's for would be to get to the other end of the cable .

Thatís the release lever for your 2nd gray tank. The L has two gray tanks, one 50 gallon and one 31 gallon tank.

My sisters coach (another brand) has that handle for the 2nd tank (hers was for the half bath 2nd black tank), and the tank and lever was on the opposite side of the coach, so there was a pump switch in the wet bay to pump that tank when dumping. Not sure how Accolade is set up to dump that 2nd tank - gravity or pump?

Really! And neither dealer nor MANUFACTURER know or could figure that out???
I guess thats just another example of owners here on iRV2 knowing more about their units than those that design, build, sell, and "service" them... sad!

It looks like it is open. Try running water in different sinks and see when and where it drains out.

Good idea - and make sure that one of the tanks is not FULL. If it has 2 gray tanks, there will be a tank level gauge, and there may be a switch to see tank 1 then tank 2 levels. On my sisters coach (another brand) the lever can be pulled open, but the tank pump must be pushed in the wet bay to drain that tank.

Hopefully the Accolade is gravity drain - if not, your tank will overflow eventually.
