Thank you very much Don and I believe you will be correct re 2000W. I'm heading to my storage later today and will check and reset settings if needed.

By the way, although I'm plugged in, 110 outlet, I don't have the 12v power on or inverters. Is that a correct storage process? When it gets cold I'll turn on the 12v and heaters to keep it warm but since I'm in SAN Antonio, Tx that's not too often.

Again thanks for the help!!

Jeff,

Your welcome. With regards to storage, you should be able to leave the 12v power off (if you so desire) and only turn the inverter OFF (at the Magnum inverter remote panel) and still have battery charging. Check before leaving. This will keep your batteries up. I would dial back shore power on the Magnum remote panel to 5 amps seeing as how you are plugged into a 15 amp curcuit.

Why do your 4 year old house batteries need to be replaced?
Wondering

Usually letting the batteries run to low causes them to die.. or over charging also can do it... most people say your lucky to get 2 to 3 years out of batteries . Not uncommon

RV batteries should last more than 2 to 3 years....(however if they're not correctly used, charged and maintained they will die sooner).

In my 1996 Safari the 6 12V batteries, (2 maintenance free chassis and 4 deep cycle marine house), have lasted 9 years.
1st set 1996-2005...(0 to 78,000 miles).
2nd set 2005-2014...(78,000 miles to 135,000 miles).
