Just a thought could we not just remove power from the whole system then repower it back up will the start battery switch kill the juice when flipped. Just wondering sure would be a lot quicker

Someone mentioned a while back that they used the 12V switch on the side by the door to kill power and bring the screen back up. Being that the radio is functional to play through the house speakers when the ignition is off, maybe it is wired to the house batteries instead of the chassis batteries?? and the side switch would work.

The start switch adds power by bring the house batteries over to the chassis batteries for a "jump start".

Mine is wired different. I tried to turn the power off at the door and at the switch next to the drivers seat. Neither one killed the power to the monitor. I went back and flipped the switch in the DEF bay and still the monitor did not go off. If either one would have worked it would have saved me from pulling the dash apart. If I knew what fuse to pull that also would have saved time. The compartment below the drivers window has a fuse called rear monitor but the screen did not go off. Every coach I have owned had a way to kill the chassis side and another switch to kill the coach side. Is there another switch besides the one in the DEF bay that kills the chassis side? Like I said I know two places to kill the coach side but only one for the chassis and the one I know does not kill everything. Either way as I said before you guys really helped me so I can't leave even if I wanted to. Now I may get kicked off since I can't keep my mouth shut on certain subjects....LOL.

Thanks for sharing that info JJ. If we get up to LD in the next few days I will try to ask a tech your question. If I would have known the question then, that tech was at the MH last week checking out a non working camera and I could have asked him. I'll see if I can find the answer.
