Help rear camera problem.

I had said I was not going to post here but I need help. I'm leaving early in the AM and when I pulled the coach out no rear camera image. Both monitors say "no video detected". Both side cameras work but nothing when you go to rear camera. I searched the web and did not find a thing. I have to drive 200 miles for a race this weekend and I really don't want to do it without a rear camera.

I had a similar issue with my American Eagle when I drove it home from Florida last September. Try unplugging the power cable from the control/selector box (probably located in the dash), and plugging back in after a minute or two.

You have a bad connector...hopefully you can get behind monitor and hopefully you can find where rear camera center comes in..I bet if you jiggle that plug it will work...then unplug and replug in and tighten....had the same issue with my right side camera and it was driving me nuts until I pried out monitor and found the 3 connections...no more problem.

FWIW, the location of the plug in is not the easiest to get to (RVOne guys had to replace a cable on mine shortly after I got my coach). More importantly, if you unplug and replug in, be very careful to align and do not force. The tines inside the plug can bend or break easily, and the time it took those techs was to rerun the cable.

shadow if you remove the eight or so screws where the monitor and radio lay a towel on the cupholder unplug one of the shortest connector it will allow you to see a whole lot in there like earlier posted look in straight back about 8 or 10 inches then to the left about 3 or 4 inches you will you will see a black switch with about 6 or 8 plugs in it video cables etc the ones on the left white plastic plug,,,, others are black cables you can tell the difference that white plug will be the power prolly a red and black 2 wires pull them out all the white ones I think 2 you cant put them back wrong wait 10 minutes replug them you should be back up and running been there done that;

JJ nice to see you back. Johnny is correct. I watched the tech at LD access ours. That was another thing that did not work on or coach and it was easy to get to. The plastic cover on the screen just snaps off, then you will see the screws holding the monitor in. There were only a couple in mine, then he pulled it right out accessing all of the connections.

Mine was a bad left camera and it had to be ordered.

Thanks guys! You are the best. I fixed it by unplugging it for a minute then plugging it back in.

Even if I worry about the country going to hell in a hand basket I will keep it to myself.

Thanks again!

Keep coming back.. I missed you. That is why we buy these MH's is to escape the reality of what is really going on around us that we have failed to change.

Thanks Chuck. Hope you get your issues resolved soon. I'm at the racetrack so I will forget our problems for the weekend for sure.
