Helping my wife make the bed - the easy way..
I would be surprised if this hasn't already been done by someone else but I couldn't find anyone posting anything similar. My wife says that making the bed is one of the chores she hates in the Anthem. She asked me for some help... 
So after giving is some thought, I started looking for solutions. I couldn't find any so this is what I came up with and it works surprisingly well. Total cost was $130. It took me two days but that's because I had to stop and think things through before proceeding. Now, I could complete it in about 4 hours (that's due to how slow I work these days).
I decided to make the entire bed slide in to the bedroom. I bought a cheap 32" televator and mounted it beside the slide mechanism under the bed platform. It's remote control and it woks great.

Nice creative solution. My wife's first comment... must be an engineer (a frequent joke / comment around our house)

Please tell / show us more!
You obviously have a sleep # mattress and I find our difficult to pull out & push back in.
Interested in the mechanical side of this mod...
Tracks? Restraints for undesired movement?
Sliding surfaces?
Our platform is hinged in the middle and may be a little more challenging

Have I missed something on my Anthem how does the bed come out like that
if it is motorized like that i never knew it, But i have never used the remote either I liked the setting of hardness and left it like that since new.

Good job. If you don't mind a little suggestion, videos taken in "landscape" (horizontal) orientation are usually much easier to watch and show more than those taken in "portrait" (vertical) orientation.

Very interesting and a nice job. Most Televator lifts I've seen were larger and bulky. What brand and model did you use for this application?
