Holy Cow, It works!

Hi - Last night I got notice that .16 was ready to download for the Vegatouch. With fear in our hearts and the prospect of having our next day being wasted on getting the coach functioning, we downloaded and installed.
Holy Cow, it worked. For the first time in 18 months we have lights that work, fans that work, awnings that work, even the air conditioner doesn't change to heat on it own! The batteries are charging. Did the coach die and go to heaven? It's almost giddy.


Never said this before regarding a download for Vegatouch- Do it, it works. At least on a 2022 44B Anthem built through the fall and winter of 2021 and requiring constant fixes since. Oh but the Vegatouch works on .16.

BTW - what ever happened to .15 that never showed up?

That is good news....what is bad news,,,is it has taken from .11 to .16 to get a good report. There is a problem when updates need so many updates.

Hi - Thanks Chuck. Maybe they have it right this time. Will they be sending .16 to your 21 Cornerstone? It really might be worth a try. We can actually use this coach now...but then it's only been 13 hours and counting. Hope all your issues are OK. How is Van making out as he was hitting a roadblock with the updates as well.

I am still using .15. So far seems okay but I am traveling so not sure if it has really solved the charging issue.

Hi Van - Good to hear that at least you can travel. You guys got the .15 which never showed up for us but the .16 came in late last night. (Sneaking in the back door maybe? But at least it asked for permission this time). Right now it is nearly perfect. I hope they get to you guys with the big guns with one that works as well. What a year and a half this has been! I still look for the Microsoft Alpha tag on the updates. Safe travels.

1.5.16 must be for everyone at least back to 2020. I didn’t get 1.5.15, for our 2020, but I did get 1.5.16 and it works well.

Hi Tom,
I stayed on .11. I will be up at the MH tomorrow seeing what I find on the AC. I will wait to see how other do on .16 before I do anything. I am so gun shy after the previous charging issues. Hope it continues for others as well as it is on your coach.

Finally 1.5.16 cured several issues including: saving lighting preferences, extend/retract door awning from the Vega panel.

After reading the positive feedback on Vegatouch .16 I pulled the trigger on upgrading to Vegatouch .16
My previous version was .11

No issues. The upgrade took about a minute.

I had to turn the inverter and AGS back on. For some reason the Vegatouch upgrade turned them both off.

My AGS setting got changed. Generator exercise was turned on along with temp based start.

My Inverter absorb charge time got lowered from 3.0 to 2.5.
Overall easy fixes.

So far everything works but we have not tried everything possible yet. I did not even lose my grandkid pictures on the vegatouch.

I will not roll the dice again for a while.

Also changed my absorb time to 2.5 and will not hold 3.0- reverts back to 2.5.

Is that on Custom setting? If so, that leaves the update out for me.
