Houston RV Park Recommendations
Looking to go to Houston,Texas and would appreciate any recommendations/suggestions for RV location for a Anthem and parking a Grand Cherokee. Would like sites with full hookup and 50amps service. Thanks.......

Houston is a big place going east to west it is now about 70 miles from outer suburb to outer suburb, north to south is almost as bad (Pearland to the Woodlands is almost 60 miles).

If you are wanting to stay on the north side of Huston, Rayford Crossings is pretty good. It is close to The Woodlands off I45

There are four new RV parks named something like Northeast Lake RV or similar. We stayed at the NE park. New, nice, clean. Also, SE, SW, and NW parks also

We stayed in Marina Bay RV Resort in Kemah in a DLQ Anthem. Very nice park near NASA. Good restaurants nearby. Also a marina and boardwalk. Would
stay there again.....

Thanks for this note, I am looking at a June trip to Houston and was wondering about this resort.

Quality Resorts has at least 10 resorts scattered through the metro area. We have stayed long term at Westlake in Katy and Eastlake at other end of Beltway in NE. They are all as nice as you can find anywhere albeit a bit pricey. Log on to Quality RV Resorts.

We always stay at the ( Good Sam) Trader's Village RV park in Houston. Even though there is a flea market next door on weekends.. It's a hoot to go there and pick up a super strong Margarita to bring back to the coach. We have an Anthem, and there was an Aspire and a Cornerstone there last month when we were there. It is super quiet, inexpensive and very clean! ( constantly monitored by security too) It helps that our family lives in neighborhood behind, so it's a quick ride or a short walk to their house! Not much for scenery, but great for a place to park and sleep ! Plus the grandkids live to spend the night with us too!

I waited to see where the OP was headed to offer a suggestion. As mentioned above Houston is a very large city and where you stay depends on where you plan to be.
We live on the Northwest side (Spring), and have used Rayford Crossing many times. It is off the beaten path, quiet, very clean, and the staff are friendly.

By the way, if you're just looking to be a snow bird, and are trying to simply find a warm place to roost, I'd suggest heading a bit further south to Port Aransas. We really enjoy taking the Aransas Pass ferry (free, and can accommodate a big rig towing) and stay at Gulf Waters RV Resort.
