On the 2014's the bottom monitor will only let you adjust colour, brightness, contrast etc. The top monitor will give you rear camera in reverse (or when selected via the mode button) and then volume can be adjusted with the VOL+ and VOL- buttons.

Yep, that's the way it is on the '02 DSDP, not sure yet about the Magna but it really doesn't matter as I never use it.

Thanks Don. I just brought my MH home and found there was no volume control on the camera monitor itself. Thanks for letting my know where the volume is.

2015 Thor 37 MD back up cam Mic
The new stereo has no mic input for the back up cam. I called Thor and they told me: "there must be caulk in the mic hole"
I took the dash apart and It was hooked up on our coach and did not work.
I grounded the brake wire so the dvd player and aux inputs work.
I'm going to add a y adapter to the video output of the cam(One to the original input on stereo and the other to the aux input)
I will then plug the mic output for the back-up cam to the aux input of the radio.
So in theory if I need the mic I switch the input to rear aux.
I also ordered a replacement head unit with nav that has all the correct inputs.
* I just want everything to work as it should out of the box!!!
Here is link to the radio im going to try:

Most worthless system ever on a diesel pusher. You can't hear anything BUT the engine. I love the camera but the sound thing is worthless.

I did the same thing but it was years after I bought the rig when I gat tired of it! And in a DP you usually can't hear anything but the engine anyway through the monitor mic. In our case it doesn't matter because the DW refuses to help backup.

Not everything is worth what the "Buy Me" labels state and really don't need to be messed with The response to this post was enough to make the purchase if new rechargeable batteries for my hand helds. I KNOW the DW will not yell over the exhaust noise in a campground with people watching and listening

Flora and I simply use our cell phones. I put her on speaker and follow her directions. With the speaker on you can only really hear the engine.
