How long is to long

How long is too long to wait for a common RV part to be delivered from mfg. That has been bad since new From the time you were told the order was put in. Also if you had repair work done emergency on the road. And you paid for all the repairs at that time. What is a acceptable amount of time to be reimbursed, also if it has been months how would you handle it.

I wouldn't have waited more than a couple weeks. Call Joyce Skinner at (800) 945-4787. If you've been working with your dealer, stop and take matters into your own hands.

I recently waited 10 weeks for some common parts. Good thing I am a patient guy.

You can talk to any person in CS and they will work sending the part. If they have it in stock, shouldn't take more than 5-7 days. If it is a critical breakdown part, they have gone to the production line and copped the part off an existing coach or floor parts, to be backfilled.

If it is a part that they must go to an OEM to get, like shade motors, the OEM ships to Jayco, Jayco moves to the Entegra Parts office, who notifies CS who then sends it out to you. Time is very dependent on the OEM responsiveness, somewhat complicated by the way the parts come to Jayco and travel through their system.

JMHO, OEM usually going to take 2-3 weeks at best...but if it is a critical part, they'll make it happen...e.g.when I had a DS Slide motor go out, the CS guys went to the line, retrieved one from there and sent next day express.
