Jeff, there are no slide stops, in or out on the slides. It is up to the user to stop the slide as soon as it is in or out. If the motor even hints at slowing down, stop. I have no noise on in the coach when the slide are moving....I want to hear and see everything. Do not continue to "tighten up" the slide, the expanding seals do that. Unless the Reattas are different than the other Entegras, the slide stops are manual.

Chuck, that's my strategy, too. I used to turn on the air conditioning as soon as I had power established, before I extended the slides. I've become more wise and try to have complete silence so that I can hear the load on the motor. At the very first hint that the motor is loading up, immediately STOP the motor.

If there's anything, anywhere obstructing movement of the slide, you'll hear the pitch change in the motor.

Take care,
Stu

Same for me.... absolute silence when moving slides, and ALWAYS at full ride height ! I don't know why some owners are concerned by turning the Cummins on and off.... it can handle that.

Two of the three slides in the Reatta XL are the same (or close enough to the same).

It appears my idea of running the slides with my phone from the exterior standing very close to the motors is a good practice and one I will maintain.

No more broken shear pins since that behavior change so I think I arrived at you all's wiser practice.

TY

It Works

The OP nailed it. I just replaced the super slide motor on a 19 Anthem with a motor I purchased on Amazon Part# 523900. The 3 items OP listed are correct but the price is now $189. I could not find a $100 motor. 30 minute swap.

Glad you put this update. A few months ago I put a post on here about using this motor and had some people doubt it would work.
