DebbieMH: I had to laugh when you mentioned your Dad tracking the hurricane on the table. My Dad used to do the same thing. (I lived in North Palm Beach). I 'think' I remember a map coming inside the newspaper so we could track it...am I right or am I imagining that?....been too long ago.

I too remember hunkering down in the hallway when my brother ask my Mom, "Do trains run during a hurricane?" She said "YES!" and shuttled us all to the hallway. She later told us it was a tornado. But we kind of figured that out because as we were all squatting in the hallway, we heard this noise above us. Dad opened the bi-fold door and above the washing machine was a trap door to the attic, and it had lifted up and was SPINNING! Talk about being freaked out!! LOL!

Turns out the tornado went right over us and down our street but didn't damage any of the homes. Whew..close call.

Prayers to all of the folks who are being impacted.

Strange..I don't know why, but I still get excited when I hear a hurricane is coming....but now I live in Spokane, WA so not a whole lot to worry about here.

We were also in the Helen area and ran home to prep our water front house for the storm, very happy it was West of us, so we are in good shape.

Thank Goodness ! That's really good news. We hope it's true for many others in the path of this powerful storm that will continue to affect so many more people in the days to come.

No problems at all. We had some wind and a little bit of rain - we were very lucky. I feel for all those folks east of us that got wacked. I put down the jacks and then manual leveled with air and our coach was rock solid through out the storm. Big believer in the HWH air system!
