I'm not an Entegra Owner, but I certainly feel your pain. Sorry for the damages. I think that could happen to anyone. I hope you are able to get it repaired quickly.

First have two more scotches, then hook up with your insurance, after you find a body shop in your area that will paint RVs have them call a Entegra dealer. For me, LazyDays in FL was the quickest. They need the door dimensions and make/model. Takes about 2-3 weeks for the doors to arrive. Then 3-5 days to paint. Tell the body shop to save your old door handles and locks and swap them into the new ones. For yourself save a few door struts and lock mechanisms for spares.

Yep..... happened to me too. And this quote was right on regarding lead time and price, with my experience in a Newmar. I was attempting to parallel park on the left side, in my assigned football tailgate space. And a calamity was going on to my front and right. I just add to the circus.

Should have seen the damage to my baggage doors when the "new" catch mechanism allowed the doors to fly open while driving. I hopefully have them adjusted so will not happen again.

Tried to blame Cheryl but she felt that since she was in the passenger seat it wasn't her fault. I was avoiding an overhanging limb and didn't see the stump hidden in tall grass. Three doors and some undercarriage work and as noted the painting was a big issue.

I think the worst part is the sickening crunch and knowing what you're likely to see, but nobody hurt except for egos.

Yes the cost to get those doors fixed is alot, money will take care of it. But us motor homers have alot of pride. And that's a huge bill to pay.

"there, but by the grace of God. go I..."

I've admittedly been lucky several times and avoided your plight so far. But, a lesson was learned each time.

Things can be fixed. As long as no one was hurt it's like it didn't happen.

Check with S&S who contracts with Entegra. They did a excellent job reattaching our rear cap. That is if you are able to get it to Wakarusa (near Middlebury) 574 862-7568 talk to kasey and ask for Mark.

Some of these pictures y'all posted are pretty tough ... but y'all's coach's look great now, so I know ours will too ... eventually.

We are going to check with a body shop in Alabama where our office is. But, Steve at NIRVC thinks we will need new doors. If that is the case, we will probably just wait and get it fixed up in Middlebury when we are there for our 2 year PDI in October. Fortunately, doesn't look like it will leak anywhere and both doors open and it is on the drivers side, so I will only see it emptying tanks and hooking up

I think it was noted before but be aware that the doors have a long lead time. Joyce expedited ours but it still took a few weeks and then they were the wrong ones. Our work was done by Land Yachts in Jupiter, FL and it looks like nothing ever happened. I get a nervous tic whenever I see a stump though....
