If it is more than a week or two before we are on the road again, I kill the power to the whole refrigerator by the circuit breaker, and then turn off the water to the coach, and the ice maker. We force both refrig doors to stay open and we empty the ice bucket, but we don't do anything to the ice cube tray. I am keeping my AC on at around 85 degrees while we are gone and the AC evaporates the water vapor from the melting and drying ice cube trays.
Has worked fine so far. Now, if we are heading back out on the road, we keep everything running as normal, but the water pressure turned on, and frequent (daily checks) of systems on the coach (its sitting in the driveway next to the house
Cheers Pat
