Image reversed on backup camera
Not sure why or what happened, but the image on the backup camera is reversed on the front monitor in both horizon and hitch view. 2017 Anthem and it has always been oriented correctly.
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
Jim

My 14 did that after changing the radio unit. I was able to change the screens back to like they were in "settings". There was a option to choose which screen viewed what. They're computers, no reason why they do what they do.

Chuck, images are on the right screen, just backwards. I thought for sure I would find a menu item to reverse the image, but no love right now.

Sorry that I can't recall the specific entries to access the camera settings, but, I do recall seeing a selection for "mirror image" somewhere in the camera settings menu.
It's kind of a "Ron Popeil" thing...set it and forget it.
Take care,
Stu

Thanks Stu, had a long talk with River Park and they did not know of any menu option to mirror the image. If you find it please let me know.
Chuck, message in to Mike O too... he has always be a great resource for River Park issues.

Hi Jim,
My coach is in storage about 30 minutes away. Not sure when I'll be back in it. We are planning a 2/16 departure for about 6 weeks in Florida.
As I recall, there's some menu for the cameras in the Xite unit that allows you to set color, contrast, brightness, etc. Contained on that page, if I recall correctly, was a setting for mirror image.
Next time I get back in the coach I'll dig around in the various settings menus.
Take care,
Stu

Thanks Stu, that would be interesting. We have an early 17, but I would think the menu options would still be the same.

If I recall correctly, there are a variety of obscure settings that you can access thru some settings menu on the Xite. Settings for the radio speakers (left/right, bass/treble, front/rear, etc.), settings for Bluetooth (connect phone to Xite, select if you want the phone to answer calls thru the Xite, etc.).
Spend a few minutes digging thru the various settings on the Xite.
Take care,
Stu

Hi Jim,
Doh!!! Don't count on me to "recall correctly".
I visited the coach today and looked at the Xite menus. There's no mirror image selection on any of the menus.
After I locked the coach, I got into DW's car. She was kind enough to let me drive her "fancy" car today (she needed fuel). As I waited for the heated seat and steering wheel to properly warm, I moved thru various menu selections on her car's touchscreen display that's bigger than my first TV. Guess what I found there? Yup. Indeed, you can make a mirror image selection on her car.
Sorry for the confusion.
If you do figure out how to fix that, I'd be interested to hear how you did that.
Take care,
Stu
