In dash audio not right

We have our stock in dash radio.
JBL MS-8 Digital Signal processor (no way to program it)
JBL GTO Amplifier - Minimal sound output
JBL Sub Speaker

I have played with the audio settings, fading front to rear, and left to right, but the sound is really sub par. I do not believe the JBL equipment is working correctly, they are both powered, but that's it. I do not have the special head set or display unit to program it.

Does anyone have the equipment available to rent or sell for doing this programming on the MS-8?

Or does anyone have a suggestion of what I should replace this JBL stuff with?
Thanks!
Bill

Bill, JME but the Classic dash sound systems left a lot to be desired. There were a lot of posts in 14 and 15 of others changing speakers and some even changing to Kenwoods. I never saw a post of anyone reprogramming one, but something might be found in the search bar.
