So we have really not used our in motion setup since we got our coach (2014 Cornerstone). We had switched the main TV inputs so that we could get HD programming using the larger stationary dish. We are heading out tomorrow for a long drive with kids and I wanted to get the inmotion system working again. I for the life of me can't remember how to do it. We are running DISH network.
Does anyone remember the "buttonology" to switch the main room TV over to the in-motion dish?

Do you mean that you have both on the roof and you just want to switch from using the Trav'ler type antenna over to the in-motion dome, or rather that you have been using an external tripod or house type sat dish and now want to go back to the in motion?

I think you mean you have both on the roof and want to switch from one to the other.

Or is it the electrical plug-in in the cabinet forward and above the passenger seating?

If the wiring is still "stock", on the box of many buttons select SAT. (still had those on the Classics) The overhead cabinet above the passenger seat turn the SAT switch on. If you have changed the coaxes, it will be anyone's guess.

I misread his post, but that is how I turn it on in my classic. Then again,I only have the stock wiring with the dome.

I have a classic and the dip switches jave been done on the dome. But when i switch on it just hubts around for signal and never locks on. Im wonderinf if there is some setup w dish receiver i need to do. There are a bunch if switches in the tv cabinet am not sure ive got all those correct.

If you would give us a clear idea of your set up, it would make it much easier to figure out what problem you are facing. I need to know if you are one of the owners that have both the in-motion dish on the roof AND the Trav'ler so that you are trying to switch from the Trav'ler to the In-motion and both antennas are stock antennas on your coach.

Or do you have an external sat dish and only the in-motion on the roof and you have been using the external dish and now want to use the in-motion? That is a very different question.

Please tell us exactly what you have and we may have some better ideas for you. If all else fails, suggest to the kids that they simply watch whatever it is they want to amuse themselves with on their phone (which every kid above 3 years old has their own phone now, so should be easy

Watching TV is "so yesterday".

Do you have the Dome coax connected to the DISH receiver? They both need to talk to each other.
The switches in the TV cabinet will probably need a photo posted for forum help, or check the owner manual. I am pulling from memory, but I believe it was SAT for the TV that you wanted watch DISH on.
The setting for the DISH receiver is "check switch" in the menu, and let it do it's thing. You might try setting antenna to "round dish", if doesn't work try the others.
