IN Roads

Take your mh to Middlebury, get everything taken care of, then it falls apart before you can get off these ---- IN. roads. Never saw roads so bad! Noel

We thought the same thing when we picked ours up at the factory in May. That 30 below last winter really did a number on the roads. 31 going south out of Elkhard, which we have taken several times, was terrible.

Don't understand the HWY 31?? Drove it yesterday. Got on hwy 31 at hwy 20. Is mostly all new road till south of Kokomo. Even bypasses Kokomo.

I thought 31 was great road.

Glad to hear that. It was a MESS in May, worst I have ever seen it and there were construction crews everywhere. Nice to know when we go back up that it is back in shape.

We found I-65 a more than ample of a test for the riding comfort of our new coach. It was bad ! Swenster had warned me about it a week before. We almost went over to I-75 to avoid I-65, then someone that was at Entegra said it was just as bad.

Overall I found the roads to be not all that bad. I drove a number of coaches for road tests over the last two weeks while in the Elkhart area and didn't find anything too extreme. I think you guys are spoiled.

Indiana did have a rough winter last year, which explains why their roads are beat up more than usual but if you want to experience that on a full-time basis just come on up to Wisconsin with your coaches. We have potholes you could drop an ISX engine block into.

I-70 around & east of Richmond will swallow you whole in places. The right lane near the berm is a killer.

Mark, I came across Wi. To Door Co. from Minnesota and at least on that trip I didn't run across anything that compared to I-65 or 69. Once I got South of Louisville Ky. Into Tn. the roads were very good.

Probably came through on hwy 29, one of the good ones. When I got back from our March Texas trip I had to slalom through our town due to everything dug up from busted water mains. The patch jobs they made are a testament to how quick they did those repairs. Glad I got a Jeep.
