Infinity Flooring

I understand that Entegra is strongly considering dropping the Infinity flooring program and going back to carpeting as a result of the negative response from prospective customers. As a result of the change, delivery of 2019 coaches, on order, will be delayed 2-3 weeks.

I have seen nothing directly from Entegra, just rummers from other iRV2 members and from my inquiry on delivery update.

Has anyone been informed by a dealer or from Entegra on delivery delays?

I am still waiting as well. I was told at Perry that it would be 3 weeks before I would hear anything on my changes, one of them was the grass cloth floor to carpet. i was told it had to go through "approval"

I was told by the dealer that they stopped producing coaches with infinity flooring. As far as production delays are concerned, something seems to be going on because I signed on the dotted line 7 weeks ago and still do not have a production date!

Is that what they call that grass cloth - infinity flooring? Kind of a lame effort.

Many thought it was. some elected to go with your brand, some chose to continue with Entegra subject to the change back to carpet. We looked at both hard, storage won over floor coverings.

Good choice! We like Entegra. And as a current owner you must be pleased.

Was up there last week for my ARI and during the tour they were still putting down the Infinity flooring and didn't sound like there was even a firm decision as yet about reverting to carpet. If you have a coach in production it will come with the Infinity. Didn't take any pics during the tour but did run into Ray (told him I like his sense of humor, to which he chuckled of course) and wish I had quizzed him on the changeover and effective line number(s).

Yes, they did say that everything currently in production would be infinity flooring. I assumed that would be just a few weeks worth but who knows! I guess if you have one currently on order and don’t want the infinity flooring you better make sure it is in writing! And assume nothing! It would not be an easy retrofit.

We spent several hours in some 19's yesterday. The Infinity floor covering looked OK in the bedroom vanity floor as it gets a trim BUT in the living area in our opinion looked awful ! Especially as it isn't attached and if it lifts you see the unfinished plywood and extra tile mastic ! Glad we're not in the shopping/buying mood at this time.

Now the digital dash was very cool !

I saw the 19 Cornerstone at NIRVC and was very disappointed. My Cornerstone is supposed to be delivered next month and really hate that the infinity flooring will be in it. [emoji20]

The 19 Cornerstone 45F at Lazydays had water on the dash and I discovered the windshield & seal at the top passenger side had popped out of the cab. There was about a 6" gap that you could look out and see sky. Buyer beware !

Are you saying LD still does not check their coaches when they come in? That sounds like a familiar experience.

I am real close to pulling the trigger on a 44f but I am having a hard time with the carpet versus the total tile flooring of the Dutch star. I have a Dutch Star with carpet and said I would not do carpet again, and here I am looking at going with carpet. One of the reasons I was looking at an Anthem was for 2019 the carpet was going away. Any thoughts on the Anthem versus Dutch Star full tile would be appreciated. How does the carpet hold up in the Entegra's? Any other thoughts between the two would also be welcome but I know this a flooring thread so I am really interested in the flooring issue.

Thanks

Our Aspire was set to finish production mid May. It is now delayed until late May because of the change in flooring. We were told that Entegra is going back to carpet.
