Installing a Lippert WasteMaster CamLoc Sewer Hose?

Has anyone installed one of the Lippert sewer hose systems on a late model Entegra? The installation instructions say to use a hacksaw to cut off the “ears” on the 3” bayonet coupling that is permanently installed on the ‘21 Entegra system. This is the sewer outlet you would use in lieu of the installed macerator and is installed vertically at the bottom of the wet bay.
The Lippert hose system comes with a 3” Inside Diameter-To-female-CamLoc connector that is supposed to be slipped onto and permanently glued to the bayonet male after removing the bayonet “ears”.
I would rather not permanently do this so that I can use either the Lippert or a cheap Camco hose.
So I’m thinking some sort of bayonet to 3” O.D. Elbow that I could glue the Lippert adapter to. I would also like to minimize the loss of ground clearance that looks inevitable in the stacking of whatever adapters I have to use. Ideally if I can, I’d like not, ally to just disconnect the Lippert hose at the CamLoc and leave the adapters attached hut if not then it’s not a deal killer.
Anybody figured out how to do this and can you tell me how you did it and suggest what parts I would need?
I can do electronics stuff in my sleep but plumbing is a mystery to me so any help would be very much appreciated,
Thanks

No, don't do it! I used this adapter so nothing had to be cut. This 45 degree worked but a 90 degree would be better.

This was the only 90 degree fitting I could find, but I thought the ears looked a little weak. https://www.amazon.com/PRESTO-FIT-10...%2C199&sr=8-11

I installed the Waste Master system on my Winnebago Adventurer probably 5 years ago.

TLDR; I love it.

I felt weird cutting off the tabs. But I made sure to spring for the entire system. I also have an extension hose and the coupler to connect the extension between the main dump hose and the RV's 3" dump fitting.

Absolutely MANDATORY is the CamLoc to standard tabbed bayonet outlet. That way if there is a problem you can connect to a regular sewer hose or accessory. The only time I've needed that are when connecting to a Tank Kleen or similar rinse out system. In other words almost never. But it is piece of mind.

The beauty of the WasteMaster system is in the security of the CamLoc, the durability of the hose and the dump head with the open/close feature.

Getting the whole system with the extra hose, etc was pretty expensive - memory fails but it was near $300 all tolled, I think.

I would get it again in a heart beat. It is a vital part of my RV sewer's system.

Thanks for the rapid responses Roger & CreativePart.
Roger, just to be sure, the picture that you attached is the final result of glueing the Lippert CamLoc adapter that came with the WasteMaster hose to the clear 45° elbow found at Amazon in your first link, right?
If that’s correct, exactly what kind of glue did you use?

Archer2, it was years ago when I did this but I probably used Oatey ABS cement. It has held up fine. The problem is gluing ABS to polycarbonate. I found the following:

"For bonding ABS to polycarbonate fittings, the best glue to use is a two-part epoxy adhesive as it provides a strong and durable bond with both plastic types; this is widely considered the most reliable option for joining dissimilar plastics like ABS and polycarbonate."

If you go that way, Gorilla Glue and J-B Weld have 2 part epoxys. You might check the following thread, particularly posts #3 and #12.
It shows a 90 degree adapter. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/was...ml#post4887612

Keith, if it helps, I have had a 3 inch clear extension attached and left under my 19 an 20 since new. Never a problem on either coach. I leave the extension just for the ease of connection the slinky and not having to reach so far under the coach. Should work for your application.

Thanks for all the suggestions, everybody. I’ve got all the components ordered and shouldn’t be too hard thanks to your info.
Have a great Friday!

Rogers solution is the way to go.
If I have a complaint about the system is that the umbilical hose cuts easily.
Be careful not to drag it over gravel/ground.
The rest of the system has worked well, without issue for the last six years.

Wow, I guess I've been lucky! No cuts or leaks in my hose and I drop it, drag it and generally give it no care whatsoever.

I am on my 2nd wastemaster and think it is a great hose. My only complaint is that with the 28' hose and large head it is hard to store without going to an extra large plastic box. So that takes up a fair amount of basement storage.

Since I also use the macerator I now put the wastemaster hose in one of the cheap bags in the back of the pickup. Works much better. Such as https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

With our classic, there is enough room in the wet bay for the main hose.
The extra hose and connector piece, annd “back to bayonet” are stored on top of our fresh water tank along with other stuff.
I guess I’ve not been as lucky on minimizing hose damage. I will get small pin holes over time. A little duct tape or Eternabond tape work well, but after a while it becomes a diminishing returns.
One thing I wish Waste Master would do is make both ends of the hoses with cam locks. Thereby making the waste valve interchangeable.

I have another question. Roger, did you do anything to support the assembly of the 90° elbow/5” extension/camloc female?
In my head I’m imagining that the weight of the pieces combined with vibrations from the road might exert a good bit of stress where the elbow attaches to the coach's bayonet connector.
I’m thinking about maybe a loop of perforated hanger strap around the distal end of the assembly and secured with a couple of self-tapping screws to the bottom of the wet bay might work.
Am I overthinking this?

I don't think that you can over think anything on a coach when it comes to vibration. If you don't, on day you may be saying you wish you had.
