Insulation in cap

I recently had the panels open to the front cap and noticed zero insulation. I called nirvc to tell them so I could bring it in to add insulation. I was told that entegra does not insulate the front caps.

This will be the first I have ever seen that in.

My 2013 Entegra Anthem is fully insulated in the front cap as I have been in there several times to run wires. Sounds like they are raising the prices of the coaches and slacking off on the quality build of the coaches that clients don’t usually see.

That is the first I have heard of that. I would call Entegra direct and get that information first hand. Last I "heard" they we going to improve front insulation by adding foam in some areas. What panel did you have open, maybe I can check my 21.

I believe the foam , applied to the cap, was used to prevent the condensation forming and leaking onto the dash through the speakers.

I received progress pictures of my CS while under construction. There is both foam and fiberglass in the cap

My 2020 also. Actually, Entegra always had the fiberglass, they added the foam to prevent the condensation.

Sadly, a problem that owners sometimes run into talking to Middlebury Customer Service is that you run into an agent that doesn't know what he or she is talking about, or misunderstands what the question is. Every worker starts knowing absolutely nothing and comes up to speed with experience You would not be the first to run into this problem.

Now, I have no idea how your specific coach was built, but most of us who have spent many winters in our Entegras and have found no problems with our coaches being warm and toasty. Maybe, we have a misinterpretation problem going on here.

Currently looking at my 21 behind the overhead TV,. A 2 inch hole where the wires come in
I can see ample pink insulation in the cap.

I was running wires in from the roof. I had the cabinets open above passenger seat as well as above the door. Zero insulation and nirvc confirmed as per call with entegra they don’t insulate the cap. Am I being misled?

I do in my 18 Anthem and as I pointed out, I saw my build progress and there was both foam and FG
