From my own experience and reading the experiences of others, which RVOne location seems to be key to it being either a good or not so good experience. My own personal experience with Buffalo RV along with others whom I know has been excellent. The Albany store seems to be a different story. I would have thought that Albany, which was their very first location, would have been the best, but it seems that it falls pretty much to the bottom of the list.
It seems that RV dealers are like yard sales…..one man’s disaster is another man’s pleasure. I should add, that trying to get a good deal from any dealer right now is going to be a challenge. The demand is so high and the supply is so low.

I agree. RV dealerships are one of those industries that will never get perfect reviews. Not saying some are not worse than others. But more often than not, people with negative reviews are more likely to post their thoughts than people with positive.
I believe if people do their homework before heading to the dealership and not rely on the person trying to sell you stuff you can have a successful at any place.
With all the laws and truth In lending act, as long as you educated yourself you will get the best deal possible anywhere.
That just leaves the service department and I must say even though some are worse than others, most people who complain about an rv service department is the fault of the manufacturer and not the dealership.

+1 for sales at Ocala General RV. Ask for Matt.
Things are rough all over it seems. Dealers, technicians, manufacturers. Lots of blame to go around. Our experience is that some places are handling the storm better than others and opportunists abound so do your research.
We initially had a terrible experience with Ocala. We put a deposit down on a hard to find coach and the day we were going to sign the paperwork they called to say they had sold it to another buyer who put a deposit down after us. (Turned out it was the finance people's fault, not sales.) We were a bit miffed, but Matt and the sales manager got on it, found us a coach at another location and would NOT let it go until we were completely happy with the deal. He was more of a pest than we were. There's good dealers out there and good people in them. Do your research and don't be afraid to walk. You'll have your new rig longer than you'll be searching for it.

If your talking about Matt Foxcroft from “Matt’s RV Reviews” he no longer does sales. We were one of the last people he sold to last year. Was a great experience. Matt now is a rep for the company and mostly does his videos. He does answer any questions and if you have an issue with General RV he will still help you out.
But don’t just take my word for it, go to www.mattsrvreviews.com and click the “question for Matt”

Nope. Matt Williams in Ocala. Matt Foxcroft is a riot. We met him at the Tampa store and got the chance to chat with him for a bit (and we got stickers). Turns out the two Matts are good friends (ask about the shoe story). Matt F is a very genuine guy. If you watch his videos (which I recommend, even if you aren't in the market) he's very much like that in person. If you go talk to Matt Williams, you won't be disappointed.

Good to know. I really want to purchase from them again, but the drive to Ocala has been rough regarding service.
