Inverter 2 / Charger won't toggle on

Good afternoon to all.

I was out camping over the weekend and was presented with a rather frustrating problem. Inverter 2 on the Vegatouch (Refrigerator, Microwave, etc.) though it is listed as Inverter 1 on the circuit panel, would not turn on. Regardless of me hitting the button on the Vegatough, I could not get it kick on (fast flash on/off). (Frustration led me to delusional belief the harder I hit the Vegatouch the better it would respond. WRONG HA! Just joking though I did feel like punching it at one point. LOL) Moreover, the charger would not turn on either. So, despite being on 50A shore power, or House Batteries, or Gen-set, my refrigerator nor microwave would turn on. I cycled EVERYTHING (Salesman, Inverter Knobs, All inside and outside breakers) for the better part of an hour to no avail. Out of the blue, after the 1 millionth cycle, Inverter 2 stayed on, crisis averted as the refrigerator once again had power. I am now back at home base on 50A shore power and both inverters seem to be functioning correctly. I am looking for ideas as to what may have caused the inverter to blip. Electronics either work or they don't so I am not leaning towards a bad inverter but perhaps a bad connection somewhere? Anyone else experience anything similar? Any ideas are much appreciated as I hate chasing ghosts.

Stay healthy.

Did you go down and look at inverter, maybe reset it on the actual inverter?or call Entegra CS?

It sounds like the Vegatouch lost communication with the inverter, at least temporarily. Check the remote cable connections at the inverter itself as well as the Magnum bridge.

I don’t have a vegatouch, but at one point, when we would unplug from shore, sometimes one inverter would go blank (2016 Anthem). Tried every fix, wouldn’t come back on. The problem turned out to be loose connections at the house batteries. Once tightened, the problem resolved and hasn’t come back. Maybe worth looking at?

Thank you for the suggestions. Crawling around the basement in summer-like heat, if I don't absolutely have to, is something I try to avoid. 86 today. Buh-bye winter. Will try and get in there over the weekend when it is supposed to retreat back to "only" 80. Hopefully will be able to update this thread with a solution for any others that may have this problem in the future.

"Inverter 2 on the Vegatouch (Refrigerator, Microwave, etc.) though it is listed as Inverter 1 on the circuit panel."

I would recommend checked which port the Inverter one and two are plugged into the Magnum bridge. The multiplex system (also known as the Vegatouch) will use this info from the Magnum to determine which inverter is one and two. The ports are labeled on the bridge.

I see that you have a 2018 coach. I'm not sure where the bridge is located on this year model. Entegra should be able to assist on locating the Magnum bridge.

My thoughts on the charger not turning on. Have you "reset" the Magnum bridge via the reset button? And if this happens again, "resetting" the inverters may be helpful.
