Inverter AC power in cargo bay

I am looking for a continuous (inverted when needed) AC power source to run the control head for my water softener, mostly when I am driving or an occasional dry camping night. It doesn’t take a lot of power. My control head has a 9 volt battery backup but it doesn’t last very long. 2022 Cornerstone, 44B.
thanks
Van

I would be surprised if you don’t have an inverter on board capable of that. Something powers your residential refrigerator continuously. Not sure where you will position your softener but you should have 110 outlets in your basement compartments. You might even have a110v gfi outlet in your wet bay. Best wishes on the install.

On your 22, the router will be on an inverter outlet.

You should already have an inverter powered outlet in the bay. Get you outlet tester and unplug the coach. Make sure the inverter is powered on and check to see which outlets are hot. You can utilize those. Entegra stopped connecting the bay fridge to 110 volt due to tripping gfi outlets. You might cause the same issue. Just fyi.

On the 19's when the matrix was in the basement, that outlet was the only one on the inverter in the basement. In 21 they moved the Matrix into the upstairs entertainment center, and moved the router, being the new Winegard system into the basement. The router took the place of the Matrix inverter outlet.
On the 19 I ran a power strip from the matrix plug, idea from Rick & HDGoldie, to have additional outlets on the inverter, mainly for my pressure washer.

Why not used a fused 12v to where you’re battery backup is connected. If you are worried about the 12v you can add a small transformer and step it down to 9V. However see if your system can handle the 12V. You can usually ask the manufacturer. Jus make sure to add a proper in-line fuse to the low amp draw.

The inverted A/C line also solves one other issue for me so I will go with that approach
Thanks
