Inverter/ Battery charger won't shutdown when parked
2013 Entegra Anthem. Pulled into Florida today and commenced to set up the coach at the RV park. When I turned off the engine I noticed that, what I assume is the inverter/batt charger (fan?) continued to run, I plugged into 50 shore power everything ran fine except noise still coming from inverter area, under bed near transfer switch. It happened in Kansas last week for the 1st time and I went through a bizarre ritual of disconnecting the shore, turning off every electrical switch in coach including main buss, coach house battery switch, inverter, charger, main legs on panel over driver seat. Still was running with everything off. Turned everything back on, still running. Decided to start the coach, let run for a couple minutes then shut down engine. Noise quit! Chalked it up to an anomaly. Had 7 more start ups and shut downs until we arrived today, with no problem. Today went through same ritual with the exception of instead of starting engine I started the generator and let run for a couple minutes. Noise quit! Anybody have a similar experience or guess as to what is going on?

SP,
Did it stay on for an extended period of time or only long enough to cool down? Mine runs all the time. I normally have to turn it off, I have an on/off switch near my door.
Best of luck.

Fan runs on 12 volt battery power and is T-Stat controlled.. It does not come on or shut off with the inverter or converter but rather with high/low temperture.. It is working as designed.

What wa8yxm says. However, I might question why the inverter/charger is running hot enough to need that much cooling (fan). Perhaps the compartment where it is mounted lacks adequate ventilation?

inverter fan
Had about the same problem a few years ago. Called Xantrex repair, sent the unit to them. A electronic board went out and the fan, had a recall on it, Xantrex stop using that brand of fan because of it being faulty. No problems with it now,

As Gary mentioned is it the compartment fan noise that you are hearing and is the compartment too hot? Here's a solution if it is the compartment fan.

Inverter / Battery charger won't shut down when parked
Thanks all for your suggestions and questions. The 1st time the fan ran for about an hour before it shut down but was that because I went through the bizarre ritual or coincidence? 2nd time about 30 minutes, but again same question. Everything was turned off I could turn off, so where was it getting its power to run the fan? I'll look into the posted suggestions. Now if I can just figure out where to access the inverter compartment on my 2013 Anthem.

The inverters are between the frame rails in the basement door opposite the aquahot ( on the RBQ). You didn't state your model number, but I assume that it may be in the same place on all Anthems. If you have the basement freezer, you will have to remove it, crawl into that compartment, lay on your back, and you will see the inverters right above you. Have you tried letting the fans run until the inverter cools off and see if they quit on their own?

The inverter/converter is connected straight to the battery bank through a 100-400amp fuse so the fan is always connected to 12vdc. (as posted earlier)
