Inverter Fault 22 Anthem
I just need some clarification. While plugged into 50 amp with the inverter on.
While using the convection oven about 5 minutes into cook power goes off, Vegatouch reads inverter fault battery overtemp. Total load on that leg was only 14 amps. Shouldn't the inverter not be carrying any of the load when plugged in? The workaround is turn the inverter off when plugged in but thats not right.
Thoughts?

What did the Vega Touch show as incoming power? Sound like shore power was not making it's say to the MH. Was the pedestal breaker turned on? I hate to say how many time I have forgotten that.

You are correct. When plugged in and shore power is available the inverter is now a charger (if required) and not inverting. Shore power should pass through the inverter to power the microwave etc.

Now, there is a bypass circuit breaker and it deals with 110 VAC being drawn from the duplex receptacles. Is there any chance you were using any space heaters (or other items with high wattage requirements) at the time the fuse blew

No the only load was the Convection oven. Magnum said to test the battery temp sensor. Here is their response:
High Battery Temperature – This fault message indicates the inverter/
charger has shut down because the Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) has
reached a temperature greater than 54°C/129°F.
Remedy: Once the BTS cools down ( 49°C/120°F) it automatically
restarts and continues operation. As a precaution, check the BTS
location; if placed on a battery, ensure they are not overheated, or
that the BTS hasn't been placed in a hot area or near a hot device.
If neither of these are the issue, then monitor the BTS display under
the TECH/01 Temperatures menu—this reading should be above
54°C/129°F. Now remove the BTS from the inverter BTS port. If
the BTS reading goes to 25°C/77°F, replace the BTS. If the reading
does not go to 25°C/77°F, then inspect the BTS port for cleanliness
and/or have the inverter/charger serviced.

This may be a stretch, but possible. One of the Chassis batteries on my 21 was bad at delivery, it was gassing and had to be changed along with the hold down strap that was already corroded. Possibly one of house batteries on your new coach may be bad and over heated trying to take a charge. It happened to me as rare as it is.

Thanks Chuck,
I heard back from Firefly and you can not get battery temps through vegatouch. In that regard, it seems the "old" Magnum remote was more useful in troubleshooting inverter problems. That being said, it seems that the inverter can't have both RV-C and Magnum remote. I guess you would have to buy a remote, unplug Vegatouch, plug in remote, Troubleshoot, then plug Vegatouch back in.

Yes, that is an unfortunate drawback of Vegatouch. It does allow you to see much of what is going on with the inverters nor change very many settings.
