Inverter Setting
Since we are headed to Alaska for the summer and have plenty of boondocking opportunities, I have added two additional batteries (L16 400 AH) to the stack. Rather simple project. Now I could use some experienced guidance with setting up the Inverter to accommodate the additional power.
I would assume that its simply changing the Absorb time from 2.5 hours to 3.75 hours, but could use some reassurances.
Also, if someone could chime in and tell me what the factory set for absorb time on the 2022 Models with 4 batteries and only 1 inverter, it may help with my logic!
If there is anything else I should consider, please comment.
Thanks

We are going to need more information to be of any assistance:
What make and model inverter/charger? Optional temp sense?
What chemistry are your 4 L16 batteries-- wet cell? AGM?

Brett, Thanks For the assist but I was focusing the question to the Entegra Cornerstone / Anthem Owners that are familiar with the set up and have made this modification.
The coach has 2- 3000 watt magnum inverters and now has 6 L16 Batteries, all 400 AH. Both inverters have battery temp probes installed.
From the factory with 4 batteries, the absorb time was set for 2.5 hours.

You need to change the battery type to agm2 for more charging. if you can also change the amp hours, you need to make it match the amp hours for the battery bank.

Hi Bobby,
Thanks again for that help yesterday!
So my coach came with the Inverter preset to battery type "custom1". When I change it to "AGM2", I lose all parameters and a simple screen shows that does not have any area to enter any battery information other than a "drop out" voltage.
What I am I missing?
Any idea how the 2022 with only 1 charger is set up?

You can have 2 inverters and they will both charge. But usually one does most of the work. The other will go into a standby setting as the charge for it is needed. The 2 inverters Allow you have more 110 volt loads run off the batteries. Could you please post a picture of what your screen is showing or give me a FaceTime call. 972-697-6325

If Vegatouch was set to Custom before and it was working properly leave it set to Custom. You cannot directly set an Absorb time in Vegatouch but you should be able to increase your amp hour setting from 800 AH to 1200 AH which should increase your Absorb time from 2.5 hours to 3.5 hours.

Don,
Those options are not available on the 2021 Cornerstome Vegatouch, - Unless of course I am missing something. It will allow me to adjust the absorbtion time directly though.

Bobby,
Those screens are not available on our coach. When I access the settings screen and go to floor plan, these are the options:
I am also thinking that the 6 House-battery set up is not an Entegra sanctioned conversion so I am doubtful that they have allowed for it as a basic option on there pre formatted vegatouch option list. ??

Also noticed there is another update out, 1.5.3 up from 1.5.1 just a few weeks ago. Hopefully the repeating disclosure was fixed.

Ahhh. There has been progress over the earlier years versions of Vegatouch. Being able to set the Absorbtion time directly is better. For 6 L-16 batteries you would need an Absorbtion time of 3.5-4.0 hours.

I am still getting it with the newest update. Just not as frequently.
