Inverters
I probably missed this somewhere. Should one turn off inverters (circuit breakers) when plugged into shore power (50amps) during short term storage?

no!! your inverter bypasses automatically when plugged into SP;; shutting off the breakers will kill any flow through power being feed to the inverter resulting in no power to a lot of the 120V MH systems. So no power to TV
or 120V outlets etc
SO BOTTOM LINE leave things alone

The inverter is a charger too. If you turn off the inverter circuit breakers your batteries will not be charged.

Select 55, what type of coach and inverter do you have? Different coaches, different results. The original question was about an Entegra Cornerstone.

Turn the inverters off at the inverter panel above the passengers seat leaving the chargers on for storage. If the inverters are left on and shore power is lost, the inverter power will drain the batteries down to zero. Don't ask me how I know. Leave the chargers on, inverters off, everything 110 will still work including the refrigerator.

If the OP did that to his inverters you might just have cost him a set of $3,500. batteries.

It depends. If you are leaving the fridge or heat on and attending the coach daily, I would leave it on. It's like having a UPS. If you are not attending it daily, and have nothing to keep running, turn it off.

It may be helpful to clarify the difference between turning off the Inverters altogether, and merely turning off the Inverting function of the Inverters.
If your LBCO is set correctly, I don't think it matters as the Inverter will take itself offline in the event the storage facility loses power. The upside is you can invert through a short outage. This keeps the fridge colder longer.
If that's important.
We remove all perishables so I ordinarily turn off the inverting function on the Magnum remote while storing, as I'd prefer not to discharge the batteries.
Last night I forgot, but I won't make a special trip because our LBCO is correctly set and will turn off the inverter eventually, if the power goes out.
I believe the Anthem and CS both manage the inverter settings via Vegatouch.

Only on a 2017, the OP has a 2016 which would be the "old fashion way"

With all the different year changes it is starting to get very confusing with what goes with what year. Think I am going to stay with my Classic
