Iphone or Ipad App

does anyone use the $100 app for their Iphone or Ipad
if so is it practical or just another toy to add
what doesn't it do that the Vega Touch does
how about the free version what does it do
i can't remember the name of the outfit that makes it
but thinking of trying it out for the $100

Matrix? AV yes, don’t know about the matrix
Cargo Locks? Yes

The apps are Crestron; the free app doesn’t work.

The $99 app mimics almost everything on the wall monitor except HVAC, which at first was a big disappointment to me, until I figured out that with the HVAC on auto I don’t make many day-to-day HVAC changes. On a tablet (I use an iPad) the screens look the same as the wall monitor so there’s no learning curve.

Your device has to be on the Vegatouch WiFi network to work so, IMO, it’s easiest to have a dedicated device for the Vegatouch app. With their larger screens tablets work much better than phones and you can use several devices of the same kind without buying the app more than once.

We have had the phone App Crestron since our 2015. It transferred to all our coach at no cost. We used the App a lot at first and then no so offen until 2017 were the App was the only mobile device to operate the AWNINGS. Happy to say Entegra brought back the remote for 2018. I think you will get enough enjoyment from PLAYING with the App to justify your $100.

We have it and like it. I also recommend a dedicated tablet. Ours is Android

We also have it and like it. Loaded on my I-Phone. Not dedicated. Easy to switch to coach WIFI. More likely to have I-Phone available to use on impulse--especially outside. To each his own.

I see most use tablets of which i have 4 iPads - 2 minis and 2 full size
all apple plus iPhone i was thinking where would i use the app
if outside maybe the tablet would be there doubt it.
inside i have the Vega touch im told to have the app on the iPhone the Ipad app is an additional hundy so phone seems like a better bet to turn on lets say awing lights and retract of extend awning or Sec lights with the phone that is in my pocket all the time and lock and unlock all the doors

I love toys but not sure after a couple trips id ever use it again
