Is the fuel filter on our Entegra's a FS1065?

The reason I ask is I was at Cummins today purchasing a spare fuel filter anticipating driving our Entegra home in a couple of weeks. While I was purchasing a FS1065 a Tiffin Bus owner came in with a 2013 450 Cummins that the factory installed filter was a FS1003. The Cummins parts guy didn't know why, so I thought I would double check to make sure our fuel filters were FS1065's.

Chuck, I have a FS 1065 for the water separator (10 micron) filter and a
FF 5636 for the Main (2 micron) fuel filter.

The filters you both mentioned should be the same for my 2011 Aspire with Frieghtliner chassi i hope! So far i have not been able to find the water separator filter for my ISL 400. These numbers are for Fleetguard correct?

Nothing like being late to answer a post. The water filter is right in front of the oil filter if your 400 has one. They are a real pain to get to and easier if the oil filter is out. The the older filter has a plastic shut off valve, I HOPE they have changed that to metal. If it has the plastic shut off valve don't use it, it will break. The heat caused them to crumble if you try to use it.. It is much cheaper to loose a little antifreeze on the floor that to replace the shutoff....that is almost impossible to get to. Been there not once but twice.

If the new 450's still take additives, I will add it to the radiator rather than the pre-charged filters. That is one filter I will let Speedco replace next time. Thankfully they don't need changing very often if you test strip comes out good.

Easy to tell the old guys here... Most all new coaches are coming with OAT coolant and no water filter/DCA necessary. They were a pain for sure.

That is music to my ears! and what I had heard, the new 450's have OAT coolant. Now if Cummins or Spartan would just move the oil filter to the filter service bay I wouldn't even have to put on old clothes to change the oil
