Issue with Black Tank Level Readings
Hello to all and as always thank you for the help!
Our coach has developed a strange problem with the black tank readings. We empty and flush the black tank so know that it is empty. As soon as the mid bath toilet is flushed the reading immediately goes to tank full with the alarm sounding. Sometimes it corrects itself and sometimes not.
Both levels on the vegatouch and on the exterior reading agree so it's not a vegatouch issue.
Customer service had us check the connections in the wet bay and all are good.
They are sending a replacement led monitor screen for the wet bay to see if that corrects the problem.
We are very careful with our tank using only single ply tissue, etc.
Any ideas on anything we can try?
Thanks Again!

Since it only happens when the toilet is flushed, I'd suspect an electrical problem. Perhaps a common ground for the toilet and sensors? If not a ground, perhaps the current draw of the toilet flush is causing a voltage dip in the sensors and triggering the error. You could try to use an alternate 12v power source for the sensors or an additional ground connection.

If you have not tried a complete tank back flush like in the video, try that until the water is totally clear. It is amazing how much crud sticks in the tank, which will throw the sensor off. I did have to replace the outside monitor as well, it's plug and play. Do try the tank flush and see if that works. Mine take 14 minutes to fill at 52 psi on my regulator.

Maybe you mean this when you say that you checked connections in the wet bay, but maybe not. Many people have had the strips that do the sensing on the tank separate from the tank and either make a bad connection or virtually no connection and need to be re-applied. At least one other owner found that they had to move the sensors around to a different side of the tank as the side where the sensors were initially applied had a much thicker blob of plastic when the tank was injection molded or "welded" and the sensors were not going to work right until they were moved to another side of the tank. Just some possibilities to think about

brobox, when I saw the thread title, " Issue with Black Tank Level Readings" I also thought, "What else is new? Probably black tank sensors blocked by debris." But the OP mentions it only is triggered by a electric toilet flush and it sometimes resets the alarm itself and reads O.K.
I really think it's more electrical in nature than a tank flushing issue. In many parts of the country filling the tank with water and dumping it puts a strain on water resources, and I don't think the problem will be corrected with more water.

I can only speak from my personal experience with sensor reading on an Entegra. It may not be his problem, but sure worth a try and it's easy. Fouled sensors in an Entegra will cause the same problem, again just from my experience.
Here is another Entegra owner that spent months chasing the problem. I am one of those that will try easy first.

Thanks to everyone for the tips!
Going to start with the easy stuff first and will report any success if we get lucky!
